Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 cups granulated white sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Dutch-processed or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips, divided
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or nonstick spray. Line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang over the sides and grease once more. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, stir together melted butter, both sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt and stir until just combined but don’t overmix. Fold in 1 cup of the chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan and sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake until brownies are just set, 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
